Bio

Margarita Godgelf is a UK-based contemporary artist.

Born in Baku, Azerbaijan, and educated in Moscow, she has had a diverse artistic journey. She attended the Moscow Academic Art School, pursued the Institute of Contemporary Art Moscow course “New Artistic Strategies,” and completed an illustration course at the British Higher School of Design in Moscow. Besides contemporary art, she has worked on multiple projects in graphic design, book illustration, and church painting.
 

Her works are included in collections such as the Kolodzei Art Foundation (USA), the Museum of Russian Art (USA), and private collections in the UK, USA, and Canada.
